Description
I'm not precisely sure who The Horned She is in my personal mythology, but she has a fondness for octopi. (The octopus is a symbol of the ancient creative forces, deeper mysteries, and in some traditions, female sexuality.)You'll notice her belly is made of glass, and she has two cave fish--one lighter, one darker--swimming around in her belly.
(Sketched in pencil, scanned and painted in Photoshop. Not sure how long this took, I lost track of the time.)

Skin tone and dress look very Bromish to me too.
The textures are awesome - did you paint it fully by hand or did you use some brush you crearted?

Kyena: Mostly by hand, although some created brushes to get the rough base textures. Actually, I paint a solid base, set the layer to locked transparency, get the major highlights and shadows laid in, and then I use multiply brushes on top to figure out which shapes are going to be shadowed, and then I go and pick out and refine details with my highlight and shadow colours. I tend to work at 200-300% and my working file is 300 dpi. I also keep another window of the file open at 25% since that's approximately what it will look like once I resize it for viewing online, and I kinda keep my eye on that window--sometimes when you work super zoomed in, you can end up detailing stuff that doesn't show up well when you shrink it down.. Hope that makes sense.

Did you know that?
The painting style is skinny. For more expressing what you mean, take a look at my work.
